- Our availability calendar is now up and running for the months of March and April. We are booking up fast with this
being the top two months for crappie fishing
- We will have a booth tomorrow night at the Duck Unlimited auction in Blythewood. You will also be able to bid on a
half day crappie fishing trip for 3 with Taylor Outdoors at the auction, so come on out!
- We have been crappie fishing every day for about 2 weeks now. Some days are fantastic and others are a little
slower, but we have been catching a lot of stripers to keep both us and our clients happy and having a great time on
the slower days!

- Gator season ends this Saturday at noon! We have had a great season with 16 alligator taken. We are hunting every
night til Saturday, so keep up to date on Facebook!

- We are thinking of doing away with the kill fee in the 2011 season and just having one set hunt price, due to the fact
that in 3 years we have never had a hunter not have a high numbers of gators to shoot at. We would love to hear

- Today was the end of the 2009 gator season. We ended up taking 15 gators in total! It was a great season for us. All
but one hunter took home a gator and we are very proud to say that we provided every hunter with plenty of

- Effective June of 2009 a size limit has been placed on the crappie in Lake Murray and the limit number per person
has been lowered. The new regulations are each fish must be 8 inches in length and only 20 fish may be kept per
person. This will be published in the DNR rules and regulation booklet.

- Crappie are really biting good up in the rivers. Catching about 1 1/2lb fish.
- Best time of year to go bowfishing...lots of huge blue catfish around. Shooting blues that avg 50lbs.
- Stripers are fairly good right now...chasing birds in the rivers.
- Bass have been on and off in the river, but have caught some really nice sized fish when they are on.

- The 2008 Gator season results have been posted as well as the 2009 information. The 2009 open season is
September 12 - October 10, 2009. Applications for this year’s public alligator season will be available online
beginning May 1 and will continue to be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on June 15 and notifications will begin to be
mailed starting on July 1.

- Well SC's first gator season since the 1960's has ended and we are proud to say we had a very successful season!
Taylor Outdoors and our hunters took 11 gators total, with 9 of them being trophy gators (10+ feet). We are looking
forward to the 2009 season and have already received numerous calls from interested hunters! We will be posting

- Gator season will be Sept. 13th to Oct 11th in South Carolina! You can apply online for tags now at DNR. The
application fee is $10, and if you draw a tag it will cost you $100 (very cheap compared to other states). We will be
offering gator hunts by bowfishing for $500 per night or $1000 for 3 nights. All you have to bring is your tag and
hunting license. We will be offering this trip in all four zones. Please contact us for more information.
